Experience Summary
Lisa Willis has been involved in business administration for over 25 years and brings a wealth of experience to WWPS, Inc. During her career she has managed the many essential facets of business with emphasis in financial management. Prior to co-founding WWPS Ms. Willis was Director of Administration for an international franchise company where she was instrumental in coordinating projects in the United States, Mexico and Indonesia. Selected as a member of the opening team, she was involved from planning through opening of local and international operations.
Ms. Willis' background includes implementing accounting systems and controls, developing and monitoring detailed budgets and cost reports for various entities, cash management, financial reporting and analysis, project management, human resources, marketing and business development. She has a technical understanding of cost controls, compliance issues and project documentation. Ms. Willis is a Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) and also holds a Utility Manager's license in the State of Georgia.
Management Philosophy
As vice president of WWPS, Ms. Willis believes that successful projects are the result of a coordinated effort between the field and office personnel. Highlighting shared goals brings "purpose to the paperwork" and ensures accurate and timely reporting and compliance.
Ms. Willis focuses on the financial and business management of the organization as well as the specific reporting requirements of the projects the Company undertakes. Her conscientious approach to project documentation, compliance issues, and financial reporting are integral to the success of projects and the Company. Under her direction, the Company has adopted a cohesive set of controls designed to promote effective project management, cost control and reporting including standardized cost codes, weekly and monthly job cost reporting, job descriptions, and standardized forms and document procedures.
